It all started when…

a group of motivated teachers, coaches, and classified staff got together and decided to go beyond the boundaries of what the educational system provides their students. In an attempt to create solutions for the problems these educators faced Principled by Design was formed. Our goal is to provide a structure that focuses on educating the whole student in the public education system. Principled by Design’s goal is to provide diverse programming in 3 key areas, co-curricular programing (K-8), vocational programing (9-16), and leadership/character development programming (K-16). We believe that without participatory programming in conjunction with the compulsory education system you can not teach the whole child.

 
 

Mission

Our goal is to add value to the education system in 3 steps:

Engage: /inˈɡāj,enˈɡāj/ verb - occupy, attract, or involve (someone's interest or attention).

Enrich: /inˈriCH,enˈriCH/ verb - improve or enhance the quality or value of.

Evolve: /ēˈvälv/ verb - develop gradually, especially from a simple to a more complex form.
