Shirt Details and Logistics:

These shirts will be printed on Next Level blanks (you can find sell sheets at the bottom of the page). They will be printed at Fremont High School in Sunnyvale, CA as part of the Training for Transition class that operates the on-site business. They will be mailed out using USPS. Please email mccune@principledbydesign.org with any questions.

Artist Profile:

Andy Beswick is a tattoo artist currently working out of Monolith Tattoo in Bend, Oregon. He was the founder and original owner of Good Luck Tattoo in Santa Cruz, CA and worked at Idle Hand in San Francisco, CA prior to that. He is originally from the East Coast. He is one of the genuinely nicest people. I am most impressed with Andy’s ability to maintain a positive outlook through any adversity he faces all while raising 4 daughters. You can follow Andy on Instagram at @andybeswick

The Motivation:

The idea behind this t-shirt series is to promote the characteristics that help build a solid community and provide a core set of skills for our students going out into the world. Financial literacy is something that is talked about a lot in the social media hemisphere when discussing the issues in education and that is one of the elements covered in our Training for Transition curriculum. The main idea behind financial stability is as simple as the saying on this shirt. Putting aside immediate gratification for long term goal development is a lesson we all struggle with in one form or another.
