Andy Beswick is a tattoo artist currently working out of Monolith Tattoo in Bend, Oregon. He was the founder and original owner of Good Luck Tattoo in Santa Cruz, CA and worked at Idle Hand in San Francisco, CA prior to that. He is originally from the East Coast. He is one of the genuinely nicest people. I am most impressed with Andy’s ability to maintain a positive outlook through any adversity he faces all while raising 4 daughters.
Tattooing has been Andy’s livelihood for the last 24 years, he was formally trained (3 year internship). He also works as a self trained painter and illustrator. Andy grew up in a small town prior to moving to Boston, where he found himself drinking and fighting into adulthood. When his focus switched to tattooing it brought him back to his artistic childhood roots.
Andy’s story, character, and passion is exactly who we are trying to bring out of each of our students. No one is perfect but everyone should be able to have encouragement to find what they are passionate about use that to earn for themselves and their family. The skills and characteristics necessary to accomplish that is what Principled by Design hopes to help develop in every person involved in their programming.
Thank you Andy Beswick for finding value in our programming and using your passion to partner in benefiting our programs.

Be Frugal T and Long Sleeve
This is the first shirt designed during the 2020 COVID-19 Quarantine. During this time our non-profit is working with artists to design shirts for our return to school and printing. These shirts will all be pre-sale until the fall of 2020 (god willing) or whenever we return to school and printing.
